Ribbon Cutting Welcomes BAPA Pollo a la Brasa to Downtown Palmetto
PALMETTO, FL — The aroma of charcoal and spices filled the air last week as BAPA Pollo a la Brasa celebrated its grand opening and ribbon cutting at 1210 8th Avenue West in Palmetto.
Owner Nuri Erol was joined by Mayor Dan West, Palmetto Downtown Main Street representatives Karon Dixon and Jordan Chancey, along with BAPA’s staff and a crowd of excited diners eager to sample Palmetto’s newest flavor destination.
Located in the former KFC building, BAPA brings new life to a familiar corner with a spotless renovation, indoor and outdoor seating, and counter-style service that makes it easy to dine in or take out.
The menu centers around one standout dish — Pollo a la Brasa, or Peruvian-style charcoal-broiled chicken. Slow-roasted over charcoal, the chicken delivers a smoky, tender, seasoned flavor that can be ordered by the quarter, half, or whole — or enjoyed taco-style for a modern twist. Other highlights include hearty Beef Soup (Caldo de Res) and handmade churros, prepared fresh daily and served with ice cream for dessert.
