The Palmetto Women's Club celebrated a long anticipated groundbreaking ceremony today, joined by Mayor Shirley Groover Bryant, Stellar Development, Moore 2 Design, Palmetto Downtown Main Street President Jordan Chancey , Executive Director Karon Dixon , and Secretary Paula Tromp, with Chancey sharing perceptive insights into the building's historical significance.
We are thrilled to see the historic Palmetto Women’s Club undergoing a beautiful restoration and transformation! Once completed, this iconic building will be repurposed as a public event space, offering a unique venue for our community to gather and celebrate.
As part of the Florida Main Street initiative, which focuses on revitalizing historic downtowns and neighborhood commercial districts, this project is a testament to the power of historical preservation. We can’t wait to see the finished result and how it will contribute to Palmetto’s bright future!
